On October 22, 2024, we announced a strategic partnership with ADS-TEC Energy to roll out a series of ultra-fast charging stations equipped with integrated batteries in France. This partnership marks a significant step forward in our mission to provide optimized charging infrastructure for electric vehicles (EVs).
Key Points of the Partnership
1. ChargePost Technology
We are deploying the ChargePost stations provided by ADS-TEC Energy, able to charging up to two vehicles simultaneously at a power of 300 kW (or 150 kW per vehicle). Equipped with an energy storage system up to 201 kWh, these stations help stabilize or enhance connections to weak electrical grids. They also feature additional services such as digital advertising, enabling a new revenue stream.
2. Adaptability and Innovation
ChargePost is an ideal solution for sites with limited grid connections. It also supports the use of renewable or local energy sources, with the ability to return energy to the grid. These stations function as a virtual power plant: interconnected, they increase storage capacity and marketing opportunities. With this approach, electricity is stored when it is cheap or abundant for use when it is scarce or expensive.
3. Meeting the French Market’s Needs
With over 206,000 new electric vehicles registered in 2024, France is a key market for e-mobility. Our partnership addresses the growing demand for fast and reliable charging solutions, which are essential to supporting this energy transition.
4. Multiple Applications
Our ChargePost stations are not only destined for private vehicles: they are already being used to charge electric buses and trucks by several of our clients.
5. International Recognition
Paragon Mobility was recognized as one of the most promising companies in climate technology in 2023 by the SET100 of the German Energy Agency and the World Energy Council. Our CEO, Jean Lemaire, was also awarded the title of “Best CEO in Energy Charging and Distribution Infrastructure” by EU Business News.
Our Shared Vision with ADS-TEC Energy
This strategic partnership aims to transform EV charging infrastructure in France. We aim to offer flexible, fast, and accessible solutions tailored to the needs of areas with limited electrical connections while supporting the adoption of e-mobility.
